ABOUT NATALIE
Whether it’s an emotional song, or a more upbeat track, Natalie delivers quality and honesty. Her sound has been described as “Acoustic Soul” and her song writing as “honest, raw and heartfelt” (Zabel Music 2017). Although her vocals are soulful, Natalie stays away from putting herself in a genre box. " I’m neither a soul artist or a jazz artist. I don’t put myself in a genre box, its too limiting! But above all, I want my sound to be recognisable, no matter what sort of music I make. "
Natalie grew up surrounded by a variety of musical sounds in the house. Her parents played South African Jazz and Soul music at a time when Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” was number 1 on the charts. She soaked up the Jazz and Soul sounds throughout her childhood, and the pop stuck with her too.

Natalie has played many gigs around London. She played twice at the Roundhouse’s ‘Camden Beach’ during 2016 as part of their emerging artist scheme, at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Tottenham, L’escargot in Soho at the popular Soul Stripped Sessions event, and many other venues and small festivals around London.
Currently studying the Creative Musicianship course at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in Kilburn, Natalie is building up her repertoire for future gigs and writing new music to share with you. She is also working on the release of her heartfelt single ‘Peace’. Natalie promises much new material for 2018.
